Although she has roots in the Peace Region, Rilee Letendre grew up in Drayton Valley, Alberta. She gained experience driving work teams with her dad and was not introduced into the chuckwagon world until she was 25. The first time she drove 4 horses with her Uncle Brian Lewis, she was hooked. Rilee spent the next 6 years on the circuit working for numerous drivers and learning as much as she could. In the fall of 2016, she decided she was ready to start driving her own outfit.
Going into her 3rd year of racing, Rilee has shown that she can be a tough competitor. In her first year she received Rookie of the Year and ended the season strong in 11th place in the standings. 2018 proved to be a big learning year for Rilee where she finished of 10th for the season. She ended the year strong Dawson Creek finishing 6th our of 17 drivers. Rilee takes pride in the care and well being of her horses and to help her take the best care possible, she has just finished her farrier training in Georgia. If you want your company to stand out on the track this year, this driver is a great choice.
